NEW Trigger & Timekeeping Replacement Pendulum Clock Movement
This is a brand new pendulum trigger movement with all mounting
hardware and hands & pendulum (if requested above).
It’s the replacement movement for train, bird,
cuckoo, 16 melody and many other sound making clocks.
You can order the movement by itself, if you already have a speaker to attach it to, or you can order it with our speaker.
The speaker plays Westminster chimes at the top of each hour only and then strikes the hour. There is no volume control on the speaker.
It has a volume level of approx. 4-5 out of 10 (10 being
the loudest). This is our personal opinion and everyone may have their
own opinion of the volume. The sound can be amplified by putting it
against a tube (paper towel roll or plastic pvc pipe, etc). This is a
battery operated movement so the sound quality of the Westminster chime
is good but not authentic like a real mechanical movement that strikes
chime rods.
The movement case
size is approx. 2-1/8″W x 3-1/2″H x 9/16″D and requires one ‘AA’ battery, not included. The chime box is 2-3/16″W x 2-9/16″H and requires 2 ‘AA’ batteries, not included. Shaft diameter is approx.
5/16″. The shaft length has a threaded portion that is 5/16″ and the
overall length is 5/8″. This movement takes press-on hands only (the
hour and minute hand both have to have a round hole).
There is no
guarantee that your original hands will fit on our movement so it is
safe to order a pair from us upon placing your order (see pictures of
hands above)
. The pendulum is 16″ long and is perforated every 1″ on the back so you can bend and snap it to the length you need before sliding on the bob.
Rear hand set knob for setting
the time. The movement has two
separate 8″ long wires and a plug end that connects to our speaker. If the white plug connector on the
end is not the right configuration to attach to your speaker or sound
board you can trim the wires to any length you need, with scissors,
strip the wires, and then connect it to your sound making device or
speaker.

Items must be returned in original
condition or they will not be accepted. An exchange or refund of the purchase
price will be given (your choice). Shipping is non-refundable unless the
mistake is ours. Make sure you order the correct size on your items so you
don’t have to send them back or exchange them. We are more than willing to help
